The name Mawe tatu was given as a result of the physical appearance of the three stones with their lovely caves that is safe without harmful wild animals.This stones have a flat surface on top with a cool breeze and a well aerial view of Matunda town,cherengani hills, Lugari forest and Mt. Elgon.
