Mimi Cavelier is from France, she had recently completed her volunteer program at Umoja Foundation Group.

We offer a variety of programs.

Collaborating directly with the local project in a respectful way, working as a team, dialoguing and internalizing the ways of doing local culture,the volunteer becomes an agent of Change upon their return.

Assist with daily office tasks and administrative duties to support the organization.

    Around our campus, you will discover:

    Bukhungu Stadium

    The stadium is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Western Stima of the Kenyan Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000.

    Volunteers will be awarded with a certificate of completion and recommendation letters and gifts as they leave.

    Orientation

    Volunteers will be acquainted with the history of the Umoja foundation, the campus environment and be given an overview of our project.

    Accomondation

    We have three Houses, containing 3 / 4 / 6 volunteers each. They feature:

    • A bathroom, a toilet and a latrine
    • Fresh running water
    • Electricity (with a backup generator)
    • Internet, LED TV, a laptop
    • Spotlight in case of blackouts
    • Fences with security lights

    $250/2 weeks

    $100/extra week
